What is the Provider Health Status?
The Provider Health Status is a real-time indicator of a provider’s performance, displayed on the Connectors page of your Dashboard. It helps you understand the current state of a provider and its impact on the aggregation flow.
What do the different statuses mean?
-
🟢 Healthy:
The provider (e.g., bank) is functioning optimally. Users can synchronize their accounts without any issues.
-
🟠 Degraded:
The provider is experiencing partial issues. Users will still be able to synchronize their accounts, but a message will warn them about potential delays or interruptions.
-
🔴 Down:
The provider is currently unavailable. Users will not be able to synchronize their accounts until the issue is resolved.
How does the Health Status affect the user experience?
The Health Status directly impacts the aggregation flow:
- 🟢 Healthy: Users enjoy a seamless synchronization experience.
- 🟠 Degraded: Synchronization is allowed, but users are informed that the process might encounter minor disruptions.
- 🔴 Down: Synchronization is temporarily disabled. Users will need to wait until the provider's status changes to "Healthy" or "Degraded."
Where can I see the Provider Health Status?
You can find the Provider Health Status in the Connectors page of your Dashboard. Each provider's status is displayed with its corresponding icon (🟢🟠🔴) for easy identification.
What should I do if a provider is "Degraded" or "Down"?
- Degraded: Users can proceed with synchronization, but it’s good practice to inform them about potential issues.
- Down: Wait for the provider to resolve the issue. You can monitor the status in real-time on the Connectors page or reach out to support if the issue persists for an extended period.
