Payment links via Bridge can adopt several statuses depending on their use and the associated conditions:
- VALID: The link is active, and no payment has been initiated yet.
- EXPIRED: The link has expired (after 15 minutes or on the defined date) without any payment being initiated.
- REVOKED: The link has been revoked before any payment.
- COMPLETED: A payment has been successfully initiated.
Each status determines whether the link can be used or not. After a payment, the link becomes inactive.
A payment link is COMPLETED when your customer has confirmed the payment via their bank's interface. However, in rare cases, a payment may be rejected by the bank even after a successful initiation. For example, if the bank detects fraud, the payment request will be rejected, but the payment link will retain the final COMPLETED status. In such cases, you will need to create a new payment link to receive payment.
