Compatibility with the "Supercheckout" module – Bridge Help center

One Page Checkout modules that display the checkout tunnel on a single page can cause incompatibilities with the Bridge module and, in general, with all payment modules.

In most cases, these modules redefine part of the purchase funnel, making it impossible to update payment amounts following carrier selection.

If the Bridge module is used with the "SuperCheckOut" module, this affects the display of the list of banks and prevents the payment from being finalized.

Here is an example of the problem that can occur.

After choosing the "Bridge" payment method, an empty popin is displayed and the buyer cannot proceed with the purchase process.

To solve this problem, you can implement an override.

This is a patch that makes changes to the Bridge module to solve this problem.

The override brings an update to the Vue javascript (front.js) to load the elements of the Bridge module correctly when the Checkout module is used.

You will need to install this patch on the shop to allow the checkout page to be displayed correctly.

Here are the steps to follow to set up the override.

1) Download the necessary files here :

2) Unzip the file "bridge-theme.zip" on your computer.

This folder contains an evolution of the 'front.js' file to load the payment section with the Bridge module.

Use FTP software (like FileZilla) to copy the resulting folder to your theme directory

For example, if your site has the default theme (classic), you should copy the folder to: /{SITE_DIRECTORY}/themes/classic

3) Unzip the file "bridge-override.zip" on your computer.

This folder forces the loading of the script contained in the 'front.js' file you added in the previous step

Use an FTP program to copy the resulting folder to the Overrides directory: /{SITE_DIRECTORY}/override

After completing these operations, check the display of the payment page to ensure that the problem is solved.
